| One of the most economical forms of thermoplastic plastic today. It is a light weight material with good characteristics (see below), making it a widely accepted material in many different applications. |
TYPES
| General Purpose Grade: | Primarily used a s a punching grade stock (sheet and coil form). Replaces more costly thermoplastics. |
| High Temperature Grade: | Primarily used where temperature is a factor in performance. Additives such as minerals and mica are used to give it a rigidity under higher temperature conditions. |
| FR Grade: | A flame retardant grade of polypropylene with a UL rating of SE-0 (1/8″th.). It has excellent punching capabilities with medium-impact strength. |
| Gasketing Grade: | Primarily used as a “sealing” grade with a durometer of 90-95. |
